Soukchay Skills Development Center Sole Co., Ltd. is one of the key businesses under the “Soukchay Group,” established to support and implement the policies of the Party and Government in building and developing a modern, highly skilled Lao workforce.
We are committed to serving as a central platform for enhancing workforce capabilities, creating employment opportunities, and promoting stable career development with sustainable income for Lao workers across the country.
To support the growth of the labor market, the company has established strategic cooperation plans with both domestic and international partners as follows:
1. Cooperation in Training and Workforce Placement
We cooperate with contractual partners nationwide to provide vocational training at Soukchay Skills Development Center. Our training programs are designed to align closely with the needs of the industrial sector and the actual labor market.
Upon completion of their training, trainees will be placed in employment in partner countries according to the agreed timelines, training programs, and employment arrangements.
2. Cooperation with Foreign Investors
We seek to attract foreign investors to invest in industries and related sectors in the Lao PDR, with Soukchay Skills Development Center serving as a starting point for establishing a workforce development system that is directly connected to the industrial sector while simultaneously supporting human resource development.
At present, one of the major challenges is that many graduates still lack practical skills. This requires employers to invest additional time and resources in retraining, contributing to unemployment and employment below the required standards.
The goal of Soukchay Skills Development Center is:
“To integrate vocational training with the industrial sector in every aspect, enabling trainees to learn and gain practical experience through real-world practice and transition directly into the labor market upon completion of their training.”
1. Building Practical Experience
Learners will receive both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training. They will gain an understanding of technology, production processes, and workplace culture while still studying, reducing the need to start from the beginning when they enter the workforce.
2. Enhancing Trainer Skills
Trainer development is a key factor in delivering high-quality knowledge and skills. Trainers will continuously have access to professional development programs and modern technologies to enhance their teaching capabilities and ensure the highest possible quality of training.
The establishment of these foundations will help ensure that Lao workers possess the skills necessary to support the expansion of the industrial sector. It will also support the Government’s efforts to develop a people-centered economy and create sustainable employment opportunities with good incomes for Lao youth.

Pre-Departure Training for Workers Being Deployed to South Korea
All workers scheduled for deployment must complete training at Soukchay Employment Service’s standardized training center, featuring modern classrooms, clean accommodation, comprehensive facilities, and a safe support system.
