Mrs. Sinchay Xayalath, President of Soukchay Group, graduated from a university specializing in workforce skills development in Japan. Through her education and extensive experience in studying international systems of support, vocational training, and workforce development, she developed a strong commitment to bringing the knowledge, lessons, and internationally recognized standards she gained abroad back to her beloved homeland. Her vision is to continuously develop the nation’s human resources and gradually elevate their skills and capabilities to international standards.

Driven by this vision, in 2019, Soukchay Employment Service Sole Co., Ltd. was established under the supervision of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare to officially operate employment placement services both domestically and internationally. The company was founded with the purpose of building bridges to employment opportunities, particularly for Lao people and unskilled workers in remote areas, enabling them to gain lawful access to quality employment opportunities both within Laos and abroad.

Beyond providing employment opportunities, the company is committed to improving the quality of life and well-being of workers and their families. Workforce development is not only about creating better incomes and broadening people’s horizons, but also about gaining valuable knowledge, experience, and skills that can be brought back to contribute to the future development of the nation. At the same time, these efforts support the policies of the Party and Government in facilitating the lawful inflow of foreign currency into the Lao PDR.

To support and transform this vision into a comprehensive and tangible development ecosystem, the management of Soukchay Group has established policies and initiatives to support and empower the Lao people across multiple dimensions, including:

1. Establishment of the Soukchay Workforce Skills Development Center

Established as a training and development center dedicated to enhancing the skills and capabilities of Lao workers, enabling them to achieve high-quality standards comparable to international levels.

2. Establishment of Soukchay Agricultural Development and Trading Co., Ltd.

Established to promote, develop, and expand opportunities in agriculture and commercial activities, strengthening economic foundations within local communities.

3. Establishment of Soukchay Non-Deposit-Taking Microfinance Institution

Established to provide access to low-interest credit financing and help address the financial challenges faced by workers who lack sufficient capital, enabling them to pursue employment opportunities abroad more conveniently and safely.

4. Establishment of the Soukchay Education Promotion Center

Established to promote educational opportunities and provide university students, particularly those in their second and third years, with opportunities to undertake short-term internships with leading companies overseas.

In addition, Soukchay Group operates across a number of other complementary business sectors, all of which have been established with the interests of the people and the nation at the heart of their development.
