If you paid the medical examination fee in advance, you will receive a refund within 1–3 days after arriving in South Korea if you paid the processing fee yourself.

For workers who obtained a loan to cover the processing fee, the company will transfer the medical examination fee together with the loan disbursement within 1–3 days after arriving in South Korea.

The insurance reimbursement for medical expenses you have paid will be processed within 2–3 weeks after all required documents have been submitted and the claim meets the applicable conditions.

The insurance provides coverage in cases where you are involved in an accident while working and need to be admitted to a hospital in South Korea. However, the insurance cannot be used to cover the cost of purchasing medicine from general pharmacies.

You will return to the Lao PDR after completing the employment contract, which typically lasts between 5 and 8 months. The exact contract period is determined by the employer of each farm.
